The Plan

“The Plan” is simply to remove the controls of government from the hands of organised and compromised gangs, otherwise know as politic parties,  back to people’s representatives whose only allegiance is to the people they represent, their constituents. In short, it putting ‘us the people’ back in control.

Consider this a democratic shift that is long overdue.

Unlike political parties of all stripes, (essentially gangs of men and woman bound by ideology, bound by their bosses and leaders, in turn  controlled by hidden funders), a wave of independent candidates bound by oath to listen to and represent the interests of their people in their constituency is a change well overdue.

This shift starts from the ground up, not the top down. There are two reasons for this approach:

Local government has the most impact on our daily lives

Local government in Wales is where the rubber meets the road. It’s where destructive higher up government policies are delivered – negatively affecting us – or not. Local government acts as the government’s boots on the ground.

Take for example the harebrained idea to force nonsensical 20 mph driving limits throughout Wales. This crazy idea was concocted by the Senedd / Welsh Parliament and then sent out to local councils for implementation. It was up to each individual council to decide where they wanted to enforce 20 mph limits only. A council representing the majority interests in their area could have simply stated that they could find no place in their jurisdiction where a 20 mph speed limit would be appropriate and that would have been the end of it. However, when our local governments are controlled by ideologically committed political parties, all too willing to immiserate its own population to achieve its goals, expect higher taxes and reduced freedoms going forward.

The list could go on and on, from crazy global/UK ‘Net Zero’ plans designed to keep us cold, hungry and dependent, to the grooming of small children with trans-gender ideology in schools, or even the mass importation and accommodation of illegal migrants. Local governments could say NO to these destructive agendas – but while they are controlled by political parties, expect no relief in sight.

A local council controlled by local representatives of the people could turn local government into a force for change for the better. The range of changes could be anywhere from halting globalist plans to impoverish us to eliminating parking charges, or even eliminating council tax altogether. The bloated local government bureaucracy ever demanding more money and intrusion into peoples lives could be given marching orders to back off if the people and their representatives wanted.

Local government elections are easy to win using an effective strategy

Unlike “big” elections with big consistencies, local government elections are entirely a different kettle of fish.

First, elections to local governments are largely downplayed if not largely ignored by mainstream media. The battle for votes is not played out on the airwaves with multi-million pound campaigns. The battle for local government elections is on the doorstep through leaflets and discussions.  Local government wards are  small enough to enable even one person to leaflet and talk to every household in a few days – bypassing all the party political electoral machinery designed to consolidate power among themselves.

With an effective strategy framing the debate between party politicians of all stripes on the one hand, and genuine independent local representatives on the other, the choice presented to  prospective voters is stark and simple. Either they elect a representative that listens to them and works for them, a representatives who unashamedly champions their interests day in and day out –  or they get a representative who has to follow party marching orders – often contrary to our interests.

Local elections in Wales is in May 2027, 2 years from the time of this writing. Over the next two years we will be recruiting men and woman of sound mind and goodwill in every area of Wales to join in an Association of Independent Representatives. Each member will be given all the information and materials to win a seat in local government, both in community councils and local authorities. Free from political party restraints, representatives will be free to champion the interests of the neighbours without compromise. The aim is to remove once and for all the malign interests of political parties from the decision making process.

Once local government is freed from outside political interests, the change can work it way up to other levels of government in time. That’s how peaceful change comes about – starting at the bottom and working its way up, not the other way around.
